You do not need to go overkill or an optimized build—just the right priorities. At the end of the fight, I show how to claim the Dragoncursed Shield, which is currently the best shield in the game as of Dragonwilds v0.10. Since the game is still in early access, balance may change in future updates, but this approach works reliably right now.
