Friday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Colder today, lake snow lingers in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Friday, January 24, 2025. Lake effect snow lingers in spots this morning while the rest of us deal with sunshine and clouds mixed with highs near 20 today. The colder air will be with us for our Friday evening plans with temps dropping back near 10 this evening before they begin to rise overnight into Saturday morning. This rise in temps will be in response to our next storm system, which will pass to our north. We'll squeak out a few snow showers Saturday, otherwise mostly cloudy skies and windy conditions will be with us. Another round of snow will briefly pass through Saturday night into early Sunday morning along and ahead of a cold front that will send our temps back down on Sunday. Next week will feature multiple stronger storm systems that pass just to our north through southern Canada. Each system will bring some snow chances with it and also windy conditions. Temps won't do a whole lot next week as they remain just at or below average in the 30s for most days. There are signs that our pattern turns more active across the eastern U.S. later next week into the following week to begin the month of February! Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY: Lingering lake snow, otherwise a mix of sun and clouds. Colder. Near 20. SATURDAY: Mainly cloudy with scattered snow showers. Breezy. Near 30. SUNDAY: Clouds give way to sunshine. Early flurries. Colder again. Mid to upper 20s. At 3News, we’re here to share your voice and tell your story.
