Eddie Kendricks soaring tenor contrasted with David Ruffin's raspy counterpoint in a battle with each other in the second half of this favorite of mine. You're My Everything, topped the Billboard chart, week of 9/23/67 but it would the last Eddie Kendricks lead vocal to achieve that success until his swan song, Just My Imagination, four years later.
