Delhi Women Panel Seeks FIR Against People In Club House App Giving Derogatory remarks

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has sent a notice to the city's police, requesting that they take action against users of the audio chat app Clubhouse who make obscene statements about Muslim women. The DCW said in a statement that it has urged the Delhi Police's cybercrime unit to file an FIR against people who took part in a derogatory chat about "Muslim gals being more beautiful than Hindu garls." The panel took action on its own initiative after hearing "participants obviously making obscene, filthy, and disparaging remarks targeting Muslim women and girls," according to the statement. The panel has ordered that the accused be arrested immediately and that a thorough action be taken and report be submitted within five days.
