Made a game for Sega Genesis! SGDK and VS Code

Going through tutorials and trying to make something cool. having lots of problems, lololol! And some juvenile humor 'cause why not. I used these videos from Pigsy's Retro Game Dev Tutorials channel.    • Sega Genesis & Mega Drive Game Dev Beginne...   This was a lot harder than you might would think. The SDK is pretty good but it still has it's weirdness, the tutorials aren't necessarily inline with the version I'm using. Getting the environment setup right took a long time and it was kinda a PITA. It probably still isn't really "right". VS Code intellisense is pretty jank, and it's C not C#, not even C+,+ so it's kinda sorta easier, kinda sorta harder...? It's definitely easier than writing it in Assembly 'cause, fuck that!!! Debug and test is a pain cause you have the added complexity of writing software for an external computer that has a completely different physical architecture. 16 bit vrs 64 bit! Also, we're emulating that 16 bit computer on this 64 bit computer, so add another +1 on the weirdness. Also I tried to make some custom tiles and there is a ton of limitations on palette size and format and, ...just, ...what an ordeal. Still having trouble with the palettes not setting right on sprites. That's it's whole other can of worms. Anyway, pretty stoked on having intercourse with your mother. She's a real champ.
