Creative expression allows teens to process experiences and emotions through non-verbal, experiential activities such as art, movement, music, or multi-media projects. In this video, we talk about what creative expression therapy is and how it supports mental health in ways traditional talk therapy sometimes cannot. Teens may express emotions that are hard to put into words, explore identity, process trauma, and build self-confidence through art-based and experiential activities. This approach emphasizes expression, not artistic skill. Creative expression at Bright Path is used as a therapeutic tool to support healing, emotional regulation, and insight development.
