Vince McMahon decided to sell the company after being FORCED to leave by losing to Austin Theory at WrestleMania, and the NXT GM Rylo Meltzer decided to buy it BEFORE Head Booker Jake Pentagon (me) could get to it. (AKA, While Jake was having a Mania match vs Sami Zayn) Jake appointed Rylo as NXT GM as a favor, but now, he's lost control from within. Rylo decided to leave Jake as the GM of RAW, and take over Smackdown for good! And the first ever SMACKDOWN episode opens up with the FIST, but also the NEW World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, who says his case as champion, but a certain Wiseman would be watching from backstage! Our first match sees Karrion Kross with Scarlett in his corner going up against The Prizefighter Kevin Owens! The NEW Smackdown Womens Champion Bayley explains her sudden partnership with Raquel Rodriguez, who used to be friends with former champion Dakota Kai, but it wouldn't take long for her to be interrupted by 2 WOMEN, who would have a #1 contenders match! The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns would also then cut a promo, but what he says might shock you. The NUMBER 1 DRAFT PICK Carmelo Hayes goes 1 on 1 against former foe Wes Lee! Former NXT Champion Bron Breakker (Steiner) makes his Smackdown / Main Roster debut against Akira Tozawa! Finally, the NEW Intercontinental Champion LA Knight decides to talk to ya first, and then issue an OPEN CHALLENGE for the title TONIGHT! HOW THIS UNIVERSE MODE WORKS: 2k23 RULES -2 GMs battle it out weekly to see who has the better show (Community Polls after each RAW/SD episode) -Whoever is winning in the ratings/polls gets a little boost to their show (tbd later) -No Stealing Talent (unless a stipulation/loan), and Trades can be made -Whoever has the best show at the end of 2k23, wins...something FROM THE RESET -All Championships have been vacated, leaving each brand with a World, Midcard, Womens, and Tag Titles -Every storyline from current day has been DROPPED, but you can't erase a superstar's history with one another -Each Wrestler will have their Win / Loss Record tracked, with everyone having a clean slate 0-0 record. -The Rosters will stay relatively the same from real life at the start, with little twists (No Released Talent) -Videos will be sporadic from now on, I'm not promising a schedule. This Universe Mode will be different then some of the others. I will be deciding who wins, I'm not gonna try to hide it, because you can see the pin screen and targeting thing. There will be 3 or 4 matches per episode, depending on the storylines going on. If there is anymore than 3, they will be edited down to not take too much time, I don't wanna make 30 minute videos here unless its a PPV. The matches will be mostly from the camera angle that WWE 2k22 Provides, with most of them using highlight reel for the finish or after the match for a custom cutscene. Expect the unexpected in this Universe Mode, and remember...to not take it too seriously.
