This constant uncertainly can lead to increased feelings of fear and stress and the coping strategies we have relied on to get us through the past two years may not be working as well as they used to. Clearly, it is more important than ever to safeguard our mental health and establish robust systems for bolstering mental and physical wellness. For our next COVID-19 Q&A Livestream we are thrilled to be joined by Dr. Susan Abbey, Psychiatrist-in-Chief, University Health Network, who will discuss how the ‘twin pandemic’ of COVID-19 and mental health has emerged and evolved, along with strategies for coping with the unique pressures of our time. We are also honoured to be joined once again by Dr. Alon Vaisman, Infection Control Physician, University Health Network, who will provide an update on the Omicron variant, how hospitals are managing under the current wave and considerations as Ontario enters a new reopening phase. Moderated by Christian Cote, Host of UHN’s Behind the Breakthrough Podcast. WHEN: February 10, 2022 TIME: 5 – 6 p.m.
