The spirit of this MS is to bring together engineers and researchers working on the design or implementation of an algorithm, methodology, or process to facilitate estimating of hard-to-measure variables (var), or physical/geometrical parameters (parm), in order to enhance a medical diagnosis or therapy. The MS consists of 4 talks of 20min each followed by a 10min Q&A. Dr. Lennart Ljung will kick off the MS with a 5 min talk on “System ID in the Age of Machine Learning”. The four presenters are: Drs. Jason Bates Rama Mukkamala Dan Karbing Sidd Chamarthy There will be an open 45min discussion session at the end. The MS ends at 12:15 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada). _________________________ IEEE EMBS is Your Global Connection to the World of Biomedical Engineering IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) is the world’s largest international society of biomedical engineers.
