The Last Coat: Deep Ice / Black Ice Tested & Reviewed

We've all heard about this product and many of you have asked for it. Today I present you with the review for The Last Coat Black Ice which is now known as Deep Ice. This product claims to be a hassle free coating that is meant to be a revenue generator for professional detailers. In my testing I found that its performance as a true coating was a bit lackluster. While the product was incredibly easy to use and very slick, it just didn't hold up when put through my wash tests. The hydrophobicity was also less than expected. I think if you think of it as a spray sealant or silica spray it's probably a good product, but billing it as a coating is putting it into category it can't compete in.
