During the summer term, the Adopt-a-Player project took place in Stockport and involved Hallé musicians Anya Muston, Roz Davies, Andy Maher, and Julie-Anne Manning working with students from Bramhall High School and three of its feeder primaries; Ladybrook, Nevill Road and Pownall Green Primaries. The project was based on Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, 'From the New World', and the students performed their compositions alongside the Hallé quartet at a culmination performance at Bramhall High School at the end of May.
