Hotshots Grand Slam Food Challenge w/ St Louis Pizza and Wings!!
A&Z #918 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs the Hotshots Grand Slam Food Challenge w/ St Louis Pizza and Wings at the Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill location near my family's hometown in St Charles, Missouri!! This past December 2020, Katina and I went home to celebrate Christmas with my family in St Peters, Missouri just outside the St Louis, MO area. A few days after Christmas Day, we went nearby to the Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill location in St Charles, Missouri and attempted their "Grand Slam" Food Challenge which had previously been highly requested by my family and friends. Katina went first and then I went second. I had 30 short minutes to finish 4 different sets of items - 12 boneless hot wings, 6 big deep fried tacos, a "Woody" Burger with fries, and a large St Louis style pizza covered with meats and cheese!! I was trying to win our my $40 "Grand Slam" meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and a spot on Hotshots' Wall of Fame. Thanks to everyone with Hotshots for the delicious food, drinks, and hospitality!! Thanks also to everybody who came up to watch and meet us that December afternoon, including my family, relatives, and friends!! The closest Hotshots location to my family's house is their St Charles, Missouri sports bar. The Grand Slam Food Challenge is offered at most locations, all with a 30 minute time limit. There is a "Woody" Burger with a smash burger patty & bacon between 2 grilled cheese buns. The burger comes with fries and there are 12 tasty boneless wings with your choice of sauce. The main feature is a large St Louis style pizza topped with a few different meats plus cheese. There are 6 fried tacos topped with lettuce, cheese, and hot sauce, similar to Jack in the Box. Winners who finish in under 30 min earn the $40 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and Wall of Fame!!
