The ref realized Crash had his foot on the rope, restarted the match, Molly Holly dropkicked Regal and Crash pinned him to win the title. In January 2001, Regal defended his second European Title against Test. Test caught Regal with a big boot, slammed him to the mat and hit him with an elbow drop to win the title in 1 minute and half. In April 2002, Regal came out to defend his third European Title. When he was entering the ring, he dropped the brass knuckles, the ref took it and when he turned around, Regal had another pair and put it in the turnbuckle. Spike Dudley ran down the ramp, took the brass knuckles, hit Regal with it and pinned him to win the title in 3 seconds. In July 2002, Regal defended his fourth European Title against Jeff Hardy. Jeff dropkicked Regal in the corner, knocked him down and hit him with the Swanton Bomb to win the title.
