Keith Ellison says Derek Chauvin trial is not a template to prosecute ex-officer Kim Potter

The Minnesota Attorney General said that the Chauvin trial does not provide a template for prosecuting Kim Potter, who will be tried for the death of Daunte Wright. “Every single case is unique. Cases are as unique as fingerprints, all of them are different in many different ways… Our approach will be tailored to the case itself. And I don’t want anyone to expect that because we did one thing in one case that we’re going to do the same thing in another case.”
