I love that it's got texture using the picot double crochet stitch. You can beads if you like but it's cute enough as it is I think! I used DK yarn and a 4mm hook and my finished tree is approx. 17cm x 9.5cm. You can use any weight yarn you like but be sure to use the right sized hook for it.
