19-year-old accused of February shooting that killed other teen, Stockton police say

Stockton police on Tuesday arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a deadly shooting from Feb. 23, 2022. Officers arrested 19-year-old Demetre Cassell and booked him into the San Joaquin County Jail, the Stockton Police Department said. One person died and another was injured from the shooting in the 8600 block of Santa Paula Way in the north Stockton area, police said in February.
