First Reading: Jeremiah 23:1-6 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 23:1-3, 3-4, 5, 6 Second Reading: Ephesians 2:13-18 Alleluia: John 10:27 Gospel: Mark 6:30-34 In today’s gospel reading, Jesus made plans for Himself and His disciples to hie off to a quiet, deserted place to rest and restore themselves after some hectic missionary work. There will be situations when the best plans we have will be interrupted, disturbed and scuttled completely. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
