Sunrise No. 2,243 • February 20, 2025 • McCarty's Cove, Marquette, MI

This was a proper sunrise outing. After a slow start to the season, and after two very dismal winters, I was ecstatic to see ice all the way to the horizon. It was cold, very window, and for a morning that was difficult to get up and out the door, I came back revitalized.
