Ishant Sharma clinched 5-wickets as India bundled out England for 180 in the second innings of the first Test at Edgbaston. India now have a target of 194, to win the first Test against the hosts, England. Ishant's 5-51 (his eighth 5-wicket haul in Tests) rattled England batting line-up as the middle order felt like a pack of cards in front of the lanky pacer. For England, Sam Curran, the 20-year-old all-rounder was the only highlight for the team as his 63-run knock took England out of trouble. Two-match-old Curran, slammed his maiden Test fifty helping England reach a respectable total of 180. The team was reduced to 86-6 at lunch but Sam Curran along with Adil Rashid stitched a brilliant 48-run partnership to save the day for England. England vice-captain Jos Buttler got out on the second ball after lunch but gritty partnership between Rashid and Curran frustrated India and skipper Virat Kohli. Umesh Yadav finally got the breakthrough dismissing Adil Rashid and later picked up Sam Curran to wrap up England's inning.
