This is video #018 in my Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask playthrough. After Link has returned the Deku Princess to the Deku Palace, the butler leads Link on a merry chase through the Deku Shrine. The Bunny Hood will help with this race, but I recommend taking it off for tight spaces and difficult jumps. At the end of the area, the butler will give Link the Mask of Scents. This may not seem that great, but it will be useful later on. I wonder just what happened to the butler's son. Next, Link heads to the Southern Swamp. He tries to take a picture of Tingle for the man at the Swamp Tourist Center, but the photo contest ends after the poison goes away. Bummer! At time index 9:45, Link goes through the sequence of rescuing Koume so that he can take part in the Broomstick Target Shooting minigame (time index 13:56). This minigame is available when Link has the Hero's Bow, Koume has been rescued, and the swamp poison is gone. This is the first of a few lucrative target-shooting mini-games in Majora's Mask. The aim is to hit the target underneath Koume's broom. To get the prize, Link has to score at least 20 points. After the first session, each subsequent session costs 10 Rupees. The prize for scoring at least 20 points the first time is Piece of Heart #09 (time index 18:30). This is a fairly easy minigame. Back at Clock Town, Link banks his Rupees and turns back the clock. When he does this, Tatl tells him that the quickest way to get to the mountains is through the North Gate. However, we won't be going that way quite yet. Thanks for watching! This video is part of my Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Playthrough playlist. I am playing the Nintendo GameCube version of the game that came with the special Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition distributed to Nintendo Power subscribers. All characters, story, music, artwork, and other components of this game are the property of their respective owners. Produced with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
