Why are California's energy prices among the highest in the nation? June 10, 2024 meeting of AVCA

A panel of experts on electric energy discuss the forces driving electric energy prices higher in California and explore the mix of government policies, wildfire disasters, and mis-allocated priorities that contribute to the soaring costs for homeowners. This discussion was arranged by Almaden Valley Community Association, a non-profit, 501(c)3, non-partisan community organization. For over 60 years, we have hosted policymakers and candidate debates, giving local residents the chance to discuss important public policy issues.
