Footage from the Kocaeli municipality fire department showed a 65-year-old Syrian survivor trapped under the rubble for over 208 hours in Hatay's Antakya district waving to rescuers after being found alive Tuesday. The Syrian man and a young girl were rescued from the rubble of their collapsed building in the eighth day since a devastating earthquake struck the region. The pair's rescue takes the number of survivors pulled from ruins on Tuesday to nine, more than a week after the worst quake in Turkey's modern history.
