Blender Environment Breakdown | Cinematic Scene using Gaea & Geometry Nodes

In this short breakdown video, I show how I created a cinematic environment scene in Blender using Gaea for terrain, Geometry Nodes for scattering, and compositing for the final look. This is not a full tutorial, but a quick overview of my environment art workflow from terrain creation to final render. In this video, I cover: • Terrain creation in Gaea • Importing and using free assets from BlenderKit • Weight painting for controlled scattering • Geometry Nodes setup for grass, rocks, and trees • Compositing for a cinematic look • Render settings for still images and animation The final still render was done in 2K resolution. For animation, I recommend rendering at 1920×1080 for better performance. If you’re learning Blender environment art or cinematic scenes, consider subscribing for more breakdowns and workflows.
