Developer time: 2:05:59 My time: 2:00:05 The hardest parts of this one were avoiding the plethora of obstacles that will instantly destroy an attempt and keeping a hold of your boost reserves. Learning I could get a drift boost before the last hairpin was a game changer for me, since this meant I was more consistent in keeping my blue fire for the whole lap. I did have one attempt where I fell off the track on the last hairpin on lap 3, but that attempt had given me hope that I could complete this one. I was surprised at being over 5 seconds faster than the developer, which is the largest margin over a developer I have compared to every other track. When the developer time trials came into CTR in 2020, I aimed to complete all of them, not knowing what I was getting myself into. I did manage to complete a good number of the tracks, but there were some tracks that I just could not do, and I put the game down. 4 years later, I picked it back up and decided that I was going to try and complete the 10 developer time trials I had remaining. After watching some videos providing general tips (how to u-turn specifically) and watching some track specific tips, I have finally completed every developer time trial. This series shows the successful attempts for the remaining 10 courses I had left – Prehistoric Playground, Deep Sea Driving, Megamix Mania, Electron Avenue, Drive-Thru Danger, Thunder Struck, Out of Time, Hot Air Skyway, Slide Coliseum and Turbo Track.
