Part 5 covers various levels throughout the game to showcase all other characters not used in Parts 1 through 4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge was developed by Montreal-based Tribute Games and published by Dotemu. TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is a beat 'em up style game inspired by the animated series from 1987 and the arcade games in the 1990s such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (1991). Shredder's Revenge was announced on March 10, 2021 by Dotemu. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge was released for Windows, Linux, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on June 16, 2022, and for PlayStation 5 on November 15, 2022. Shredder's Revenge is a side-scrolling action brawler with a pixelated artstyle. Each character has their own attributes (range, speed, and power), plays differently, and they also have unique super moves and taunts. There are pizza boxes throughout each stage that players can fine to heal them. There are other pies as well that give player extra strength and infinite supers for a brief period of time. There are two different modes: Arcade Mode and Story Mode. In arcade mode, players have a limited number of lives, and the game must be completed in one sitting. In story mode, players can convert accumulated points for health, extra lives, additional combat moves, and a special ability known as Radical Mode, temporarily enhancing the player character's combat abilities. Also in story mode, each stage has optional side-content, challenges and collectibles.
