Satnam Singh becomes 1st Indian national in the NBA

Satnam Singh of Punjab (India) is picked by the Dallas Mavericks as the 52nd pick of the NBA Draft 2015. He becomes the first Indian citizen to set foot in the league. Last year, Canadian national of Indian descent Gursimran SIm Bhullar, became the first player of Indian origin to play in the league, by joining Sacramento Kings.
