N.B. I have re-edited this first season video into four improved episodes for easier viewing. Watch the individual segments below or experience the full 48 minute original journey here. Episode one - • 76 Years Old, my friends begged me not to ... Episode two - • I'm 76, Will I Make It? First Solo Sail on... Episode three - • 76 Years Old and Caught in Extreme Weather... Episode four - • Perfect Sailing Weather | 76-Year-Old Take... I retired at 76 and bought a 35 foot sailing boat, Zephyr IV. Several of my friends have suggested that I ought to reconsider and maybe consult a psychiatrist as it seemed a rather unwise thing to do at my age. This video is a scrapbook of the lovely sailing I had during our first season together in 2021. We didn't go that far, only along the South Coast of the UK, but it was a good shakedown in preparation for something more adventurous in 2022. Zephyr IV is a Westerly Ocean Quest sailing boat. The first of the Aft Cockpit versions. The early models were all Centre Cockpit versions. When I bought her she had already sailed over 6,000 miles and she has proved to be a comfortable sea boat in my hands. Check out my YouTube Channel - / @davesailing
