Real Live Terrain Trial of Crossing Sand with Suzuki Vitara. Climbing Small Sand Hill (12 degree). In Off-Road besides mud second most common obstacle is sand. This time I encountered wet sand pass through river embankment repairs. Suzuki likes sand – it is lightweight car. It is not losing traction easily in such conditions. Summer road tires are not making this any more difficult. Traction is good enough. And thanks for tires road profile it has no tendency to dig in. Even starting from ascent (12 degree) is possible without stacking in sand. Real live offroad test of all-grip four-wheel drive 4WD capabilities of Suzuki Vitara in sand. All this on default Continental summer road tires.
