26th MEU(SOC)'s MSPF Conducts Live-Fire Range Aboard USS Bataan

Jul 19, 2023 - U.S. Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable)’s (MEU(SOC)) Maritime Special Purpose Force conduct a live-fire range aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), Atlantic Ocean. During the range the Marines utilized different drills and tactics to enhance lethality and maintain readiness. The 26th MEU(SOC), embarked with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is on a scheduled deployment as the Nation’s Immediate Response Force within the Fifth and Sixth Fleet’s areas of responsibility.
