Tower of Impending Doom by pczm and more Difficulty: Low Unreal [13.25] Personal Difficulty: Low Unreal [13.29] Enjoyment: Ranges from 2/10 to 7/10 Completion Date: 5/11/25 My first top 1 verification. I remember seeing Henyxl play this time way back in the start of 2024, and really thought nothing of it as I wasn’t playing the game much at the time. I looked into it more and saw that it was a 90 minute unreal which really made it stand out to me. Then when cvrro started grinding this in secret back in November, I saw a lot more of this tower than I had previously seen and it became very intriguing. I however didn’t start grinding ToID until March. I made extremely fast progress by getting to 10 in only 2 weeks on a fluke from the 4th jump of 7. However, after this I began not enjoying the tower much whatsoever because who would enjoy a 90 minute you fall you die unreal. I went to grind GD again for a couple weeks and then came back to it, and then somehow, on my first day back, I got to 10 again, and got all the way to the final stretch where I choked the 3rd jump. This fail sucked obviously, but I was nonetheless pretty motivated to play it more. I managed to overcome my mind-block with the end of floor 6, and in doing so managed to get many 7 runs. Around this time I had failed 9 end on stream, so I knew the end of the grind was near. Then on May 11, a Sunday afternoon on Mother’s day, I verified my first top 1, Tower of Impending doom.
