It's always nice to see a writer's performance of their work and their interpretation of what they created. This song was originally written with Helen Miller in 1971 for the NBC-TV Children's Theatre special "Looking Through Super Plastic Elastic Goggles at Color", with actors such as Julie Newmar, James Earl Jones, Judy Carne, and Tammy Grimes. The song was performed by the group, "The Goggles", which included Rod McBrien, David Spinozza, and Jessica Harper, and a soundtrack album was later released on Audio Fidelity Records along with a sheet music songbook released by Hansen. Later recorded more notably by Beverly Bremers the following year. ---- Lyrics: Estelle Levitt [lyrics in description] Music: Helen Miller Original performer: The Goggles (1971) © 1970 Sunbeam Music, Inc.
