I still remember the first time I heard Deftones’ Change (In the House of Flies). It was one of those songs that never left me — the way it carried sadness, beauty, and anger all at once. In some of the hardest moments of my life, I played that track on repeat, and it felt like it was speaking the words I couldn’t say myself. But every time I listened, I kept wondering: what happens after? When the fire burns out, when the wings are gone, when the silence takes over — how does the story continue lyrically? That’s what led me to create Change in Me — a sequel in spirit to Deftones’ masterpiece. I’ve always loved the Dark Blues sound, so I imagined this continuation in that world: raw slide guitar, heavy atmosphere, and lyrics that look inward instead of outward. If Change was about watching someone else transform, Change in Me is about facing the scars left behind. This is my tribute — a Dark Blues sequel born from respect, love for the original, and a need to give voice to the aftermath. #DarkBlues #Deftones #ChangeInMe #HouseOfFlies #ChangeSequel #BluesMusic #CinematicBlues Support the music by following, saving, and adding tracks to your playlists — it helps the rust reach more ears. 📸 Instagram: / bluesinrust 🐦 Twitter / X: https://x.com/BluesInRust 📘 Facebook: / 61576367176470 📌 Pinterest: / bluesinrust Threads https://www.threads.com/@bluesinrust Just stay connected. 💬 Want to use this music?
