Date Set: 2022-05-14 Total Time - 1:21.919 Lap 1 | 27.347 Lap 2 | 26.366 Lap 3 | 28.206 _____________________ Music: Attack of The Killer Queen (Deltarune Ch. 2) • Video ____________________ Very happy to finally get a 1:21 here after about a year of on and off grinding from when I set my 1:22.035 run back in June 2021. I came back here in early May and told myself that I was going to grind this track until I set my first 1:21. The main reason this took so long was mostly due to me being very inconsistent with the shroom cuts and putting a run all together with good laps 2 and 3. After grinding for past few days I found myself getting better at both of these things. Which is probably how I got this time not many days after I started my grind. This run is very good for me and I also found it interesting that I got the run with a 1-2-0 shroom strat as I mainly go for 3-0-0. For now at the moment I'm going to take a break from the track but when I come back I'm going to be learning ramps and trying to go for tops. As well as try to get rampless tops at some point as well! ____________________ Lap 1: This lap was a strong start to the run with a chain and good driving. The only thing that I would say that could mainly be improved was the fact that I didn't get the curb slip drift on the shroom. Even without it though it was a good shroom making the lap a 27.347. Which isn't to far off my best split of 27.310. Lap 2: Lap 2 was also a very good lap and is my best 2 shroom lap I've ever hit. There are a few flaws though. Such as the first straightaway where I got a chain but bounced going downhill and a drop. As well as the turn after the tunnel being a little messy and lost a bit of time. The 2 shroom cut could've been a little bit better but was still good. Lap 3: Lap 3 was definitely the worst lap of the run but still isn't too bad. The beginning straightaway had a flat chain and a full drop. So still some room for improvement there. The driving at the end was also a bit shaky but is understandable considering my nerves. 28.208 isn't a bad lap at all and I am still happy with it as a closer lap for the run.
