2023 ACE NoLimits Challenge: The Next Schwarzkopf Traveling Coaster Entry 3: Toxic Twister by Jacob Kirik The Challenge: Anton Schwarzkopf revolutionized the amusement industry with countless innovations. Perhaps best known for giant looping traveling coasters and pioneer of the first vertical loop, Anton’s creations dominated the midway at Germany’s premier funfairs for decades. Olympia Looping, the last of these great traveling monsters, debuted in 1989. Nothing that’s come out since has achieved the same epic status of thrilling fun machine. So we’re wondering, what would Anton build today? What could Anton do with all the new innovations in roller coaster design? What would the next great traveling coaster look like? Would he incorporate LSM launches? More complex inversions? Put on your Anton hat and design the next great traveling Schwarzkopf coaster! The Rules: Design and build the next great Schwarzkopf traveling coaster. The final design should still look and feel like a Schwarzkopf traveling coaster. You may use any style steel coaster in NoLimits. Your layout must run 5 trains safely with minimal trains stacked behind the station(s). You may include any number of inversions, lifts, launches, and any length of track. Supports must be connected to a base frame rather than concrete footers and appear able to be disassembled and moved.
