Court dismisses disobedience of lawful orders case against Besigye

Makindye chief magistrates court has dismissed a case of disobedience of lawful orders against former FDC presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye for want of prosecution . Besigye was jointly charged with Kampala city Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago and two others for allegedly disobeying orders of the then Kampala South metropolitan police commander Siraje Bakaleke. Grade one magistrate Fortunate Nyapiri dismissed the case this morning after prosecution failed to produce a single witness in court to testify against the accused.
