Driver crashes into the guardrail after trying to overtake a truck

This is the shocking moment an impatient driver maneuvered around a truck on a California freeway only to crash just moments later. In the video, which was captured in 2015, the truck driver is seen preparing to merge onto a highway in Livermore, California. As the two merging lanes become one, a small silver car is seen darting by the truck. Construction workers are seen standing in the median that was blocked off by a guardrail and orange cones. That's when the driver of the vehicle loses control and smashes into the guardrail and then the barriers.
