While Wublin Island was created by the Mighty Wubbox as a place for its electrifying creations to reside and play their parts, Rare Wublin Island is quite the opposite! Aedifinn, a Colossal who had a knack for invention and engineering, sought to achieve immortality so it could continue its passion for tinkering. Thus, Aedifinn began its mechanical transformation into the first Cyborg Colossal by replacing its very own body parts with thermodynamic machinery! Meanwhile, on Wublin Island, the Wubbox noticed that there was a surplus of Wublins being zapped to life, left and right. So, in order to find a secondary island to let them reside on without being cramped together, the Wubbox set off in search of a suitable Colossal, eventually stumbling across Aedifinn and reaching an agreement with it to store the excess Wublins. However, due to the intense heat conditions created by this mechanical giant's robotic parts, the Wublins began to mutate and adapt to the harsh climate, eventually becoming the Rare Wublins that reside on the island today!
