The incident of kidnapping and attempted rape of an innocent girl in the Shahjahanabad area of Bhopal has sparked outrage in the city. Police have arrested the accused, but despite this, Shamsul Hasan Balli, patron of the All India Muslim Festival Committee and president of the United Struggle Front of Madhya Pradesh, has described the incident as serious, demanding strict action and questioning the silence of the political leadership. Balli said, "When the case of rape of a 6-year-old girl in Nasrullaganj came to light, the leaders and the government immediately took action. But why are many leaders silent on this attempted rape of an innocent girl in Shahjahanabad? Does the girl's suffering change depending on the area?" Demand for a fast-track court trial and the harshest punishment Reacting to the arrest, Balli said that this is only the first step. He demanded that the administration: The case be tried in a fast-track court and a speedy decision be reached. The accused be charged with the harshest possible charges, including POCSO. Provide security and legal assistance to the victim's family. Balli said, "Mere arrests are not enough in such cases. Society will only be safe when the perpetrators are punished as an example."
