(20 Oct 2016) US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Wednesday he doesn't have high expectations for the Geneva talks taking place this week to discuss the possibility of a ceasefire in Syria. Speaking at a State Department news conference following a meeting with the Foreign Minister of South Korea, Kerry said he isn't approaching the talks "with a great high sense of expectation," adding, "nothing is based on trust." The US and Russia have already had two failed ceasefire agreements to end the fighting in Aleppo. The latest talks include Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
