Across 2025 people kept telling me I should be playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and I kept on ignoring the games’ existence. I don’t know why. I hadn’t seen any gameplay, knew nothing about it, just knew that people thought it was a game for me. Cut to the start of December 2025, finishing my first playthrough of Final Fantasy Tactics, and again, people say ‘why haven’t you played Clair Obscur yet?’ The next day we get straight into it, and I’m amazed at what I’m seeing.
