WWE Live Event Business Hurting & Impact Drops Huge According to WWE's earnings reports their live event business is down and they are going foward with their Cown Jewl event which is getting them a huge sum of money. The report states WWE's live events business (its #3 source of revenue) is hurting. WWE barely broke even on its live events business in Q3, reporting on the period from July 1 to September 30 The company actually reported a negative operating income related to live events for the third quarter. Not only is average attendance showing a pattern of decline in both the North America region (U.S. and Canada) and the International region (everywhere else), but revenue in the Live Events division for Q3 2018 ($26.7 million) was down 16% from Q3 2017 ($31.6 million).
