February 12 And now, pray to the God of all things, who has done great things throughout the earth, who has multiplied our days from the womb, and has shown us mercy. (Ecclesiasticus 50:24) On the morning of the third day of our search, we saw some movement in the Temple, and so we ran there. There was our son, calm and well. Jesus, sitting among the doctors of the Temple, talked like an adult, asking and asking questions. However, after each answer, Jesus asked more and more questions. Jesus always questioned them. And the doctors were enchanted by the wisdom of his words. At first, despite Mary’s and my desire to run to meet him, we watched the scene behind a column. I hugged Mary, and together we praised God for having found our son alive and healthy: we were simply amazed. In my heart, breathing a sigh of relief, I was still trying to unravel a mystery that has been with me since the Annunciation: Who is Jesus? What is his mission? What could be behind all this? We cannot decide the future of our children, because they are free and, therefore, they must be. What we can do is guide them, without, however, decreeing anything. Prayer to Saint Joseph for my family God the Father, who, through the work of the Holy Spirit, fertilized the virginal womb of Mary and chose Saint Joseph to be the adoptive father of Jesus and the guardian of the Holy Family, I praise you for your unconditional love for me, my family, and all humanity. Lord, it is your providence that governs everything; I believe that my life and that of all my family members are in your hands; may it be fulfilled in us according to your will. God the Father, I ask you that Saint Joseph be the protector of my family, and that, through his intercession, no evil may take up residence in our home; that he may watch over and watch over our needs and may we never lack daily sustenance; that the spirit of division never dwell among us; May harmony, concord and respect reign in our home and may we learn these virtues from Joseph, Mary and Jesus.
