This quick tutorial details how you can record your Playstation One and Playstation 2 gameplay in HD, using the Elgato Game Capture HD. What you need: 1. Playstation 2 2. TV/monitor 3. Laptop/computer 4. Elgato Game Capture HD 5. 2 x HDMI cables 6. A Playstation RCA connector 7. AV2HDMI converter or upscaler The instructions are included in the video. In the Elgato software, the settings you require are as follows: Input device: Other -HDMI video input -HDMI audio input -HD 1080 -Best quality This is the name of the upscaler I use: AV CVBS 3RCA to HDMI Video Audio Composite Converter AV2HDMI Adapter + USB Cable This is a link to an upscaler with good reviews: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-Composit... Please ensure you purchase an AV2HDMI upscaler and not an HDMI2AV converter! I almost made this mistake myself. This setup should allow you to record your terrific PS1 and PS2 gameplay in high definition. If not, then please comment below, and I will get back as soon as possible with possible solutions. This setup is also beneficial as, given the backwards compatibility of the PS2, you can simply place a PS1 game in there, and record away without having to wire everything up to your PS1 console. Although these instructions may not work with the Elgato HD60, as the HD60 is not compatible with retro consoles, such as the PS1 and PS2, some gamers have informed me that this tutorial does work with the Elgato HD60. ~~~~MUSIC~~~~ Background music: Ukulele by BENSOUND http://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-...
