On the 445th day of traveling across China in my car, I left Xinjiang and arrived in Weichang County, Chengde City, Hebei Province! The national highway conditions were so-so; some sections were under construction, full of potholes, and my car almost scraped its undercarriage. At 1:30 PM, I arrived in Weichang County and decided to camp there for the night. Tonight's dinner was an 11.9 yuan snail rice noodle set meal. The snail rice noodles were fragrant and delicious, paired with sweet and rich Guangxi soy milk—very authentic! The taste was absolutely amazing! I was completely satisfied! Tonight, I chose to park at a gas station for the night. Frankly, this isn't a good place to park overnight, but I had no choice. There aren't many free campsites in this county; either there are no restrooms or no parking spaces, so I had to improvise. From Chifeng City in Inner Mongolia to Weichang County, the entire journey is over 130 kilometers. As I approached Weichang County, the road conditions became very poor. Due to the rain, the unpaved road was full of potholes and flooded. Every car had to navigate this section with extreme caution, otherwise, they risked damaging their undercarriage. Following up from the previous video, I spent nearly 10 days in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. Next, I will continue my journey. I plan to head west, passing through Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Gansu before entering Sichuan. Because my itinerary is relatively slow, I'll arrive in Sichuan around autumntime. This will be perfect for enjoying the autumn scenery.
