Mansi Sinha is a practicing attorney in India. She is working as a retained litigation lawyer, also the Associate Partner at UCOL, Advocates & Consultants, a pan India all service law firm. She is also regularly engaged as a legal and compliance consultant for India Bound, a niche GRC Firm in India, globally known as Worisgo. She has done her Bachelors of Law from Government Law College, Bombay, University of Mumbai. She also holds an MBA degree. In the short span of Mansi’s career, she has had the opportunity of working with a variety of corporate entities and individuals, from Fortune 500 companies to small scale businesses in India. Frequently advises on a wide range of arbitration matters, both commercial and international, as well as arbitration related to court matters. She has worked on multi-million dollar litigations concerning the Indian Government, multinationals, and other organizations. She works with organizations to develop and implement their strategy for operating in India. Over the years, she has gained experience in energy and infrastructure disputes, disputes arising from contractual arrangements in PPPs, government tenders, auto leasing, power, real estate, banking & finance. Has worked extensively on white collar crimes, general corporate advisory, Writ jurisdiction at the High Court and Supreme Court, and disputes relating to complex financial products and fraud. Often provides legal and compliance risk gap analysis for multinational companies. Conducted the World Bank Integrity Compliance program for an infrastructure company in India to enable it to get itself re-listed with World Bank, as well as compliance & legal risk audits for multi-national hospitality companies in India. Analyzed and structured the hotel’s safety and asset protection mechanism concerning fire and health hazard. She advises on HSSE issues for companies in India. Mansi has conducted fraud investigations and white-collar crime detection programs in a large infrastructure project. She often works on projects to analyze key-evidence to substantiate breach and embezzlement in the company. General corporate advisory with respect to FCPA mandates for acquiring controlling shares of Indian companies and the peripheral liabilities of the parent investor company arising out of such investment. Besides this, Mansi has been actively involved in many pro-bono cases and Public Interest Litigations on a number of social issues such as cross-border child abductions, custodial battle of warring parents in family litigations, safety of women, children and elderly in public transport, safety of women litigants, lawyers and court staff – in court precincts, law firms, police stations, tribunals, commissions and so forth. Mansi has been proactively participating in the creation of a few assistive tools since 2018.She has worked with teams working on employee safety tools and risk management tools. These tools shall enable simplification of key decision-making aspects of the management. She has also developed three websites for various organizations. Mansi is currently working on developing a market mapping tool based on complex algorithms and legal nuances.
