Thanks to Hayes Griffin for joining me on this split-screen cover of Doc Watson's classic tune "Walk on Boy". Hayes is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and teacher. The idea behind this "just for fun" project is to produce an archive of songs (some church-based, some not, some old, some new) that have meant something to me through the years. Recording Process More detailed tech stuff is listed below, but here's an overview of how these videos are made. The videos on this channel are live covers, that is the aim is to capture a live performance on video with no lip-syncing. Sometimes I may overdub a little bass guitar to "beef up" the track, but, for the most part, these videos are "one-mic, one-take."
