It's time to meet more of our staff at Tachyon Publications! This week, we have a special treat: Editor Jaymee Goh. Jaymee ran away from academia to fall into publishing as an editor at Tachyon. She has a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature on science fiction studies and critical race theory, and became famous on the internet by yelling on Twitter. She co-edited a couple of steampunk-themed anthologies and writes short fiction about disappointing children and misandrist mermaids. Since joining Tachyon, Jaymee has spearheaded the Tachyon Debut Authors series, and grown our partnership with the Chinese publishing house, Eight Light Minutes. Jaymee is judiciously ignoring her first novel in favour of her second, third, and nth novels. About Tachyon: Founded in 1995, Tachyon Publications LLC is a publisher of smart science fiction, fantasy, and horror, as well as mysteries, memoirs, young adult, and literary fiction. We champion the creative storytelling of authors who inspire us through intelligent prose and imaginative worlds. Our titles are consistently unique, thought-provoking, and entertaining.
