EU set to lift Fukushima food import regulations this summer: Nikkei

According to Japanese news outlet Nikkei on Friday, the EU could be removing its restrictions this summer for various food items from ten different prefectures in Japan. Currently, fish and wild mushrooms from Fukushima are required to have certificates of radiation analysis following the nuclear disaster back in 2011, but the lifting of regulations means that this will no longer be needed.
