A lot of people believe God has a plan for their life— and I’m assuming if you clicked on this video then you want to know what is so you can follow it. But for those of us who feel called to a less conventional path— like being an artist, a creative, or an entrepreneur— figuring that out can be a lot harder. Because those paths don’t come with roadmaps. society isn’t wired to think creatively, and so it doesn’t always make sense to the people around you. And so, you face resistance. From others—who question your choices. And from yourself— from that inner voice that says: “This isn’t practical.” “This is selfish.” “stop dreaming and be realistic.” But here’s the truth, God does have plan for your life and he made you with a purpose. And that might look a traditional 9-5 career path, but it might not. If you aren’t careful you could end up running from the very gifts He gave you and ignoring the calling He planted in you— I know this challenge well. As a husband and father of four, I didn’t think my creative dreams could coexist with my responsibility to provide for my family. So for years I chose stability. I played it safe. And for a while, it seemed to work. I held good jobs. Found some success. Checked the right boxes. But beneath the surface, I was restless. Unfulfilled. Disconnected from the work I was doing. Then the foundation started to crack. I got laid off— three times in five years. And that’s when I finally woke up. Because I couldn’t keep pretending it was working. I realized that I was hiding Hiding behind fear. Hiding from the risk. Hiding from the calling God had placed in me. And maybe… you are too. So in today’s video, we’re going to talk about why you’re doing this— and how to embrace your God-given calling. Please help support this channel by subscribing, liking, and sharing.
