This unit allows for alignments using the side face of a belt pulley or chain sprocket. Both the laser emitter and receiver units feature powerful magnets which let you attach them to the inside or outside face of almost any belt pulley or chain sprocket. This makes the unit suitable for almost all machines using V belts, banded belts, ribbed belts, and most other belts as well as chain sprockets. Using the TKBA 10 is extremely easy. Simply attach the sender and receiver units to your pulley or sprocket and turn on the laser. A laser line is then projected from the transmitter unit to the reflector unit mounted on the opposite pulley. A reference line on the reflector unit clearly shows the offset and vertical angle of misalignment. The reflected laser line shown on the transmitter unit shows the horizontal angle misalignment of all three. The SKF TKBA 10 features a red laser and is suitable for alignments at distances up to 10 ft (3 m).
